One of my favorite aspects of makeup is testing new foundations, so as you can see by the picture below, I have accumulated quite a few!
Keep reading for a brief review of each foundation, which ones are my favorites, and which ones I would not repurchase.

From left to right:
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation (light medium sand)- This is a great foundation if you are looking for something lightweight that provides a good medium coverage. Even though it is a “water foundation”, it does not make me skin look too dewy.
Fiona Stiles Matte Finish Foundation Concentrate (07)- This shade is way too dark for me, however is dries down to a beautiful demi-matte finish. It is unfortunate that Ulta no longer has Fiona Stiles products because I would love to try this foundation in a lighter shade. If you are looking for a super matte foundation though, I would not recommend this one.
Elf Flawless Finish Foundation (porcelain)- I bought this shade because out of the two available at my drugstore, this one looked like it would be the closest match. It is pretty light on me, but I just mix in a little bit of a darker foundation that I have and bronze my skin a little bit more. For $6, this foundation is really good and has a gorgeous natural finish. I just wish that Elf would extend the shade range.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation (128 warm beige)- This foundation is a favorite amongst the beauty community and it really is amazing! I have repurchased this foundation a couple of times already and it is definitely a must-have for me! This foundation does not have a super matte finish, and I feel that it would be great for all skin types. If you are an aspiring makeup artist, I think this would be a great foundation to have in your kit! Also, the shade range is amazing!
Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation (220 natural beige)- This is another great foundation from the Fit Me line! This has more of a dewy finish (hence the name) but it does not make me look too greasy. I definitely prefer the Matte + Poreless version, but this is still a great drugstore foundation if you want a more glowy look. I also find that this foundation has slightly less coverage than the Matte + Poreless version.
Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation (bronze beige)- This has been raved about by beauty influencers since it launched and in my opinion it definitely deserves the hype. This is another great foundation to have in your makeup kit because it photographs beautifully and works with all skin types. Every time I wear it I have a great makeup day! Definitely cannot live without this product!
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation (nude)- Yet another great foundation that I cannot live without and will continue to repurchase. This is a great everyday foundation that has medium-full coverage and works with all skin types. When people ask what foundation I recommend, it is definitely this one!
Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation (30 warm nude)- This is a great drugstore foundation! The finish reminds me a lot of the Born This Way, but it does have a thicker consistency. Overall, it is a great foundation!
L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation (W3 nude beige)- This shade is labeled as being warm toned, however I find that once it dries down it looks slightly too pink on my skin. Other than the shade being a little off, it gives a beautiful dewy finish to the skin. I definitely would not recommend this to people who have oily skin though and I prefer the Maybelline Dewy + Smooth foundation over this one. I probably would not repurchase this foundation.
L’Oreal True Match foundation (W4 natural beige)- This has been a staple foundation for many people, however it is not my favorite. There are so many other foundations that I prefer to this one, so I would probably not repurchase.
Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour foundation (203 true beige)- This shade is a little too pink for my skin tone, but the finish is really nice. It reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Matte + Poreless foundation, but if I had to recommend one, it would be the Maybelline one for sure.
Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Complexion Perfector (medium light)- This is my all-time favorite BB Cream hands down! I love the finish and it has great coverage for something so lightweight! I absolutely recommend this product and I love wearing it on natural and full glam days. I will definitely continue to repurchase this product.
Sonia Kashuk Soft Focus Satin Matte foundation (cream)- I bought this foundation because beauty influencer Casey Holmes kept raving about this product and unfortunately it is not my favorite. The shade range is lacking (the shade CREAM is too orange for me) and I overall I was just not as impressed with it as I thought I would be.
EX1 Invisiwear Liquid foundation (F200)- This is a shade too dark for me, but it still matches my undertone perfectly. If you have olive skin, I definitely recommend this product! It dries down to a gorgeous skin-like finish and has medium coverage. I really like this foundation and will be repurchasing it in a lighter shade.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage foundation (light medium sand)- This is one of my all time favorite foundations! It lasts all day and has great coverage. The shade I have also matches me almost perfectly and the shade range is great. I love this foundation for spot concealing as well as all over wear. I will continue to repurchase this product.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation (natural buff)- This is a great drugstore foundation if you want a dewy finish. I can only wear this foundation in cooler weather because it will make me look too shiny, but is is pretty long-wearing. I find that the shades do run a little on the pink side, but I can make it work with concealer.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream (buttercream)- This is not my favorite BB Cream. It has light coverage, but it sits on top of my skin and makes my face look kind of cake-y. I really do not like the way this product dries down and will not be repurchasing it.
Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream (light/medium)- This is a great drugstore BB Cream and lasts for a pretty long time on my skin. I find that is has more of a natural skin-like finish rather than a matte finish but I still really like the way this product looks once it sets. It has a good medium coverage and feels lightweight. In my opinion, this is a good drugstore dupe for my favorite Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done bb cream.
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer (creamwhip)- I absolutely love the coverage and finish this foundation has, but the shades run very pink. It is such a shame because I love everything about this foundation except the shades. I wish Clinique would come out with more shades suited for neutral/olive undertones. If you do have pink or peach undertones, I definitely recommend this product and think it would work for all skin types.
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation (desert beige)- This is a cult favorite foundation amongst the beauty community and it definitely stands up to the hype it receives. Eery time I wear this foundation my makeup looks amazing and lasts ALL DAY. It does contain SPF, but I have not noticed any bad flashback. This has become a favorite product and I will definitely repurchase.
Garnier BB Cream (light/medium)- This used to be my favorite BB Cream, but the Urban Decay one has taken its place. This is still a great product if you are looking for a drugstore option, but I no longer reach for this one because I have others that I prefer.
Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir (buff beige)- This is one of my all-time favorite drugstore foundations. It has really good coverage and looks like a better version of my own skin once it sets. It has a natural finish and I think this would work with most skin types. I will continue to purchase this foundation for sure!
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation (sandy beige)- This is another great foundation from Maybelline. This is a recent addition to my collection and has become one of my favorites. The shade is slightly too dark, but once I apply concealer it becomes a perfect match. I think this foundation would also work really well with all skin types.
NYX Foundation Mixer (white)- I love using this product to lighten foundations that are too dark for me. I find that it is so much easier and cheaper to use this product rather than having to purchase a lighter shade or return foundations. I love having this on hand and I do not find that it changes the finish or consistency of the foundations I mix it with.
